Crimson Ridge Golf Course

This elegant home is backing onto a unique, award winning master planned golf course in Ontario.  The customer had orginally installed a pressure-treated structure covered with cedar boards - however after only four years the cedar had stained, deteriorated and cracked (see below).  The customer opted for a multi-level deck finished in a beautiful mauve and black granite.  We also used the same granite for an attached patio. 

Spanish Curb Appeal

This charming home is appointed with many elegant details including finished exterior stucco details and crafted wood appointments throughout. The customer wanted a grand entrance, but did not want it finished in stamped concrete.  They ultimately selected a travertine stone paver that complimented the Spanish theme and provide genuine curb appeal.  

Garage Mezzanine Deck

There is a growing demand for laneway housing where decks are finished above a garage.  Problems arise with fire risks during installation as well afterwards with BBQ fires.  Traditional construction requires the installation of two wood subfloor substructures before the deck is built above.  We built this demonstration model in one day for Sunset Decks in Southern Ontario to demonstrate the technology for garage and second storey decks.

A Waterfront Retreat

This customer went through the expense of renovating an original log home on a river waterfront, and wanted a timeless deck to enjoy the water view from.  The old home had an original root cellar door.  We installed a rubber membrane over the door area to prevent water penetration, and finished the deck in a blend of travertine.  We also outlined the eating area in a contrasting stone detail. 

Right from the Beginning

This builder wanted some immediate curb appeal for a new starter home that welcomed customers into his new development.  Their designer chose an atahced deck with 10-foot stairs, finished in travertine stone.
